Communion Day focuses on the sacrificial nature of Lord Christ for the humanity all over the world. The nature of Christ of saving the world from all the sins and preaching good deeds to all the people is what honored on this day. People celebrate this day very merrily. It marks a festive occasion and that everyone wears their special clothing on this day. But people often wear that is white in color; it is because they signify purity. Girls often wear fancy dresses with a veil attached to the headdress with white gloves. They often wear Head wreaths in their clothing. Here we are making a Head Wreath for Communion Day. Give it a try and see how good it looks.
The instruction of making the head wreath is as follows:
Step 1: First of all take the measurement of the head of the person for whom you are making the head wreath. Now you cut the floral wire into two pieces of about 6" long than the circumference of the head. Twist them together.
Step 2: Now you cover this twisted wire with some greenery of your choice. You can take ivy for that. Take two pieces of ivy to get a fuller appearance. For making a hook and eye for the connection of the ends leave about 3 inches of wire exposed from the either ends of the wire.
Step 3: You wrap the ivy with floral tape to secure it properly. But ensure you do not tape the leaves. You make a hook at one end of wire and a loop with the other. Now twist the whole wire into a ring connecting the hook and lop so that it can fit on the head properly.
Step 4: Now you add flowers on the wreath. Prefer some white flowers for the wreath. Start with attaching the first flower at the center of the wreath with floral tape. You now place another bloom on either side of the wreath"s center. Go on adding the flowers until you feel the wreath is full enough. You can also use baby"s breath between the flowers to give a traditional look.
Your Floral Head is now ready for your Communion Day clothing.
